Reporting lates

If you are late once by one day will the CCC report it to a CRA?

My guess is that each CCC has a different policy on this and what they actually do may also differ.  Does anyone have any guidance on specific CCCs and their willingness to stick it to the customers whenever possible?  On the other side, which CCCs bend over backwards for their customers and seldom report lates?

Re: Reporting lates

If you are only one day late, they can't legally say you were 30. And if they try, dispute it.

While it is rare, they can report you 30 days late even if it not 30 calendar days late.  Wells Fargo reported me 30 days late 5 years ago when they payment was due on the 1st and received on the 3rd.  Next month's statment droped on the 2nd which was reason why they said it was 30 days late.

Best to call and ask and grovel if need be.
