I have not been able to find any definitive answers on this, (tried the local AG's office they would NOT give me info);
1) If a small payment is made to a CA on a NY debt that is OUT of SOL does it put it back into SOL, i.e. is the debt no longer time-barred?
2) Same question, but if the payment to the CA is made in the last few months of the SOL as opposed to AFTER it expires?
I'm about to send out CA/OC letters and cannot find definitive answers to this for NYC (lots of opinions though
