Incorrect and inaccurate statement that's misleading. Vantage scores are simply that - Vantage scores. They are not FICO scores, but are used by certain institutions. I can assure you that anyone that does use the VS 3.0 model doesn't consider them "educational scores" and values them highly.
I agree that VS 3.0 scores are far less meaningful than FICO scores, but given the right situation it's possible that VS 3.0 scores are important so you can't just rule them out as "educational" and call it a day.
