Score watch alert! Nice score bump

Received a SW alert today, I expected a lower score due to some credit report maintenance over the past 2 weeks and to my surprise my EQ went up 21 pts. This is after I called my revolving acct.'s and asked for SP CLI's. Chase Freedom wouldn't do it for a SP, so I passed but home depot increased my line from $600 to $7500. The CSR said it would be SP but turned out to be a HP from EQ. But still worth it for the huge increase. Called Best Buy next and got an increase from $700 to $1200 with a SP. I added a green AMEX with NPSL with a EX pull. I also added a personal loan for $10,000 from my local CU with a EQ pull. The explanation with the SW alert said that my GEMB account through Sam's Club has been closed. I don't understand how 2 inquires and a closed account that I never used so never late and 4 years old., could help my EQ FICO to a 21 pt. Increase. I am completely baffled.

Re: Score watch alert! Nice score bump

SW alerts only reflect a net change to your EQ FICO. There could have been a dozen things happening that produced that change.

Re: Score watch alert! Nice score bump

I pulled my FICO EQ & TU 3 days ago and went over each account, line by line. Including the descriptions on each account. The Only difference is in my post. Are there things behind what's in the reports that are not disclosed by FICO? There is no difference in the report on Aug. 3rd and today's report at all except for closed acct. And the new inq. I wish there was something obvious.
