Sharebuilder

I opened a sharebuilder account last week and when I pulled my reports today I noticed they did a hard inq on my EQ. I didn't authorize them to pull my report (especially a hard pull) and this isn't a transaction where I'm applying for credit.

What grounds do I have to get this removed?

Re: Sharebuilder

ask if they can recode as a soft, but i think it would be unwise to dispute this inq.

Re: Sharebuilder

I actually don't care about the hard inq itself since it appears to have lowered my EQ score only by 1 point. I'm more concerned about AmEx seeing another inq and doing a FR or something like that.
