Hi, everyone--troylasvegas has posted the 1999 FICO slideshow on the "Interview with Fair Isaac scoring expert" thread over on the Understanding FICO® Scoring board. I'm not sure that the info is still current, but it mentions some scoring points being given to job category (professional, management, etc) and length of time at current job.
On my reports, TU has nothing for employment, EQ thinks I'm still a housewife (I've been back at work for 13+ years now), and only EX has it right. I'm just as happy not having my current employment displaying, but is it possible that it does affect scoring in some way? This is intriguing because EQ (=still a housewife) is my lowest score, and it would cheer me up to give that one a goose.
Thanks for any input and ideas!
