So I had a collection on my credit report

There was a collection, and it was for medical. Well it was for my workmans comp injury. The case is already closed.   What all can I do?

So its paid off?  You can request a Pay for Deletion if its not.  If it is paid off and still on your credit you can request they remove it from your credit report but don't expect it, some do it and some dont.

When a collection is paid, the debt collector is required to do two things.  First, update the collection blance to $0, and second, cease collection activities.

Deletiion of prior, accurate reporting is not required.

Has the debt collector updated the collection balance reported in the CA to $0?
