Nice turn around on scores! Seems like it 2 maybe three months for SoFI to report. And did not get dinged for the new personal loan. Hope the same happens for you.

I saw similar results within one cycle of my cards reporting. SoFi reported about a month after the closing of the loan. Scores dropped 3, 4, and 9 points on EX, TU, EQ respectively.
