EQ & TU have both removed the inaccurate lates from 05-06.. but EX still has not. I called the Customer Advocate Unit today & was told it's EX's fault, b/c Sallie Mae has reported twice - once on 10 Apr, on an off-cycle, as a "service" to me to get rid of these lates as quick as possible.. and then again in their regular monthly reporting for May.
I called EX, and they have no updates from Sallie Mae since the end of MARCH. I tend to believe EX over SM, b/c my EX report shows my balance as a full $540 higher than the other two CRs!!!!!! So, unless SM is sending updates & EX is putting them in File 13, then SM just hasn't updated. My pmts are only $60/mo, so this would mean it's been *months* since SM last reported to EX.
Any experience w/ this? Is it possible that SM is sending updates & EX is not receiving them? Any suggestions for resolving it? Is there a way for me to get a 3-way call w/ SM & EX so they can fix it over the phone? We're within 30 days of applying for a mortgage, I REALLY need these lates (ranging from 90-180 days from Jun 05-Jan 06!!!!!!) removed as SOON as possible.
