Pursue your debt validation, if the date is older than 7 years, you are safe from credit reporting.  If you have an old copy of your CR, hold on to it because just because it is past the maximum reporting date doesn't mean some companies won't report it.  Respond in writing letting them know that the debt is over 7 yrs old RR. If it shows up on your report gain, which it might, be prepared to go to the mat to have it removed.

No I only started learning this stuff about a month ago when I found this site...Smiley Happy
Strange thing though I bought Myfico scores years ago but didn't remember this site...
