Is there anywhere I can just straight out buy a TU FICO score like you can here? I want to buy one for my son but I can't figure out how to sign him up with myFICO to buy it without paying for the whole ScoreWatch monthly.
Is it possible here or elsewhere?

I believe you can get TU fico from here but its an older model the tu98 i believe. If he has an walmart, discover, or barclays card they give an "free" TU 08 fico score every month.

You can purchase the older "TU98" version of the TransUnion FICO score at this site (myFICO.com) for $19.95 per score. You do not need to sign up for ScoreWatch.
Thanks! Found it. At least it's no longer so thin it doesn't exist like last year! As far as Barclay's, I just got a Sallie Mae. Will that card give me my TU score each month?

I am pretty sure it will. Somebody else can correct me if i am wrong, i am actually interested in sallie mae card. I am thinking of applying for it on monday. I want to have my lower util show up on my TU credit report. I think my chase card was around 30% util i want to get that down to 1% before i apply.
Yes, the Barclaycard Sallie Mae card includes a (approximately) monthly FICO TU-08 score. You do have to go onto your online account and opt-in for it, it doesn't enroll you automatically.
The Sallie Mae gives the TU 08 FICO, but it doesn't update monthly. It updates about every 10 weeks if you have no "significant events" on your credit. If you're apping, have new TLs, and some of the other types of changes Barclays cares about, then it may update much more often, everytime one of those types of changes reports. It's almost like a ScoreWatch, except that it doesn't track every change.

I'm so happy with it, good luck to you! I waited until my UT was under 10%, was only reporting 1 card and my INQ dropped to ZERO on TU. I believe my score was at 745 that day. I got instant approval.
Thanks all! It was a bit hard to find but I'm opted in now. Nice little surprise as I didn't know that!

I am an bit worried about my inq, i have six right now. Also just opened three accounts in sept my freedom, bcp and IT. I am still debating whether i should pull the trigger on monday. My TU 08 score from walmart and discover says 807, but i am still wary don't want to waste another hp only to be denied :-(
