Tax Liens

I have recently paid off a tax lien. Will it boost my scores any?

Only if it showed a balance and if the now balance is paid off in full. If only the tax lien and no balance is shown then no. Unless you can get the government enity to remove the tax lien it will remain on your credit report and hurt your fico score for 7 years after the debt was paid in full or what they refer to saisifed. So contact the agency that put on the tax lien and see if they will remove it. What ever you do amke sure you save all receipts and documents.
