Thought This was Strange

I received a letter from Chase on Friday saying thank you for your recent application for a student loan consolidation. We are sorry but we can't grant your loan request because of the type of loan you have. I didn't even apply for a loan consolidation with them or anyone else. Why would they send this letter.
