I recently (January for one may for another) paid off 2 collection accounts. but neither has shown up as paid on my credit report. When I called the CA to ask about why it wasn't reported as paid, He said it can take up to 6 months. Is this true? If I am late a payment it shows up immediately. how come they can't fix it as quickly?
I have since requested paid in full notices, which neither agency sent me.
