To close or not to close

I am in the process of paying off all of my credit card debt.  Once I clear a card is it better fico wise to keep the account open, or close the ones I do not plan to use again?

Any help is appreciated.

Re: To close or not to close

Welcome.  Please read the Scoring 101 thread.  It's probably best NOT to close them.
