Too Old To Report/Tuscany/Noah

Hi Guys, I have two chargeoff accounts opened in 1997/2000. Both were chargedoff for 3 months of non-payment after 5 years of perfect payment on one (Providian) and 4 years of perfect payment on Orchard/HSBC. They are scheduled to go be deleted in 2010. Both were sold and the balances read zero/paid chargeoff. Providian DOFD actually happened in 2001. Do you think that if I dispute as too old to report that they will remove? I want these gone.

If the DOFD is 2001, then they should disappear in 2008, not 2010.

Re: Too Old To Report/Tuscany/Noah

I had 3 CO from providian DOFD 2001. They turned over or sold to CA palisades. Palisades sold to Palisades collections L. pal.coll. re-aged. I filed a dispute 6/29. all CO were deleted. I still have a few weeks for final report. If the 2 CA are still there I will start with DV. But with a DOFD of 2001 they will all drop in 2008.
I do not have to worry about law suit as SOL in my state has pased.
