Hi All
I have a credit card in Uk (MBNA) with a balance of about $24,000. The interest rate is pretty high and I pretty much pay the min every month and wire funds to my UK account every 3-4 months. I want to get this card paid off, but it's a pain with wire transfers every month (and expensive).
I have been approved for a Discover 25K personal load at 15.99%. With this I would pay $500 a month for 72 months and then it would be gone. I'd hope to pay it off earlier, but I'm being a bit pessimistic.
My credit score is around 700 and I'm wondering what a $25K unsecured loan would do to my credit score.
Does anyone have any ideas/suggestions.
