Tried to pull Experian Report from my fico, and I get some weird errors...

I contacted EXP and they said it was a "my fico" problem, not theirs. The errors I recieved when attempting to pull my file was 1) file too thin 2) not enough data to produce a score and 3) person listed as deceased.

Well, none of the above are true.

Anyone else having problems like this pulling EX? I have pulled a couple of 3 n 1's and also, no data for this bureau.

this happened to my fiance, and what we think caused the problem is that there were no new accounts recently. he had old accounts reporting every month, but that wasn't enough. he opened a new TL at a local jewelry store and it cleared it right up. would this scenario apply to you?

Thanks, I called customer service and the rep said it could just be they haven't finished updating. I don't know what they have to update, since they refused to help me in the first place. Just aggravating.

i know it is, hang in there. what sucked about our situation is that my fiance has scores in the 650's and he still got denied credit because nobody could see the scores. we're ok now, but we have inquiries from it and it's to late to do a recon letter.

Obviously Macy's is aware I am very much alive. I know I said I wasn't apping for anything else, but to test EXP, I did app for Macy's and got approved. I should be happy but...after hearing EX rep being so rude to me earlier, it kinda ruined that moment. There's always tomorrow!!

so you just got a macy's card. outstanding. spend $30 on it and pay $20 next month. wait for it to report to all 3 CRA's and i bet it will shake things loose. for my fiance, he could only get 1 of 3 scores at first, and it was 650, but his new apps were hitting the ones with no scores. once we got that new account to report to all 3 everything was fine. this should work for you.

Experian does not cooperate with my fico for some reason.  Pull an experian report and see what you get.  It says right on my fico that experian does not supply this information.  So pull two my ficos and one experian for a really true picture.  Hope this helps.

One more thing  experian gives me a 761 plus score and a my fico score of 704.

I was able to pull one finally from Credit Expert. It is another one of those 30 day free trials, and wants you to monitor EX after the trial is up. I pulled it just to see if I could and get a report number. It worked. I spoke with a supervisor who was a bit more helpful than the first rep who upset me. Yes Annie, my plus score is quite a bit higher than my fico score from last month. Since my files are mingled, I have a 17 year old credit history and atleast 10 accounts open and reporting. No way my file is too thin. Just seemed strange to me at the time.

now you should be able to go back to my fico experian and they will help you with a dispute letter for all the incorrect items.

OK, Stef, you said you contacted EXP...how the heck did you manage that? I am having a very similar problem and I can't figure out a way to get in touch with a human at that company. Thank you!
