Truecredit.com?

I already have ScoreWatch with myfico. What is TrueCredit? Is it worth it? Is it similar to ScoreWatch?

Re: Truecredit.com?

truecredit is a TU product, and the scores you get from them are FAKO'S.

Check out their website and compare, is all I can say. Several people here subscribe to their service.

I think you can pull your cr daily, along with their credit score. But verify that with someone else.

I'm with Experian's freecreditreport.com. I can also pull daily my cr, and get the scores. But only use it once per week. Kinda pricey at $12.95/mo, and for that reason, I'm considering dropping it.

There are so many monitoring services out there that it boggles my little pea brain. How do you find ScoreWatch? From the video, it looks like a fantastic product.

Re: Truecredit.com?

ScoreWatch seems fine! It lets me know when inquiries have been made, score changes, etc. I like it for what it is and it makes me pay attention to my scores at all times. I am not allowed to CR's daily, however. That might make it worth the extra $4/mo. I only really need to pull my reports in December to see my progress and then probably in April since I will be applying for a home loan in June.

I use TC, really good product.... Got a year subscription with credit monitoring on all 3 CRAs. Got my Fako score from them recently. 7 points lower then my TU Fico score. Not much difference there. Overall I'm satisfied twith their servicesSmiley Happy...

Re: Truecredit.com?

I use TrueCredit and it is good. I get to pull my report everyday with out extra cost. I get all 3 reports in one. Once every 3 months I'll pull all 3 FICO Reports. That way I get the best of both worlds and still stay on top of my credit rating. I think TrueCredit 3 in 1 is worth the price.

Re: Truecredit.com?

I like TC, and they haven't banned me yet.

I would never get them for the scores or the advice. I used them STRICTLY as a source of frequent credit report viewing.

Seriously, I don't even look at the scores screen. They have all sorts of wacko advice there that is not only useless, but if followed, could actually damage your FICO scores. It's easy to get their advice tangled in your head with the real stuff.

Re: Truecredit.com?

I don't understand why anyone would want to use truecredit when it is a FAKO, not a FICO?  When I pulled my score and report on truecredit it was almost all incorrect and the score was 50 points off from my FICO score.  IMO, it is a waste of time and money.

Again, it's what I said in the post immediately above yours: TrueCredit is great for frequent, up to daily, monitoring of all three credit reports:

Don't get TrueCredit for the scores. Get it for daily reports. When you see something big hit all three reports, something you've been working on and waiting on, then you know it's worth the $$$ to pull your FICO scores. Even then, you might want to wait a couple of days. Sometimes the FICO reports aren't updated as quickly as the TC reports.

If by "incorrect", you mean that the REPORTS are also incorrect, compare them with the reports you get when you pull FICO scores. They should mostly match, although EQ displays strangely.
