US Bank. Grrr!

I had a lease account with US Bank that was paid in full probably two months ago. During the course of the lease, I had two 30 day late payments, which are indicated on my CR. However, it also lists my account as CURRENTLY 30 days past due. That's not right, is it? It is currently paid, not currently past due. The person I spoke to INSISTS that it is being reported correctly because I did have late payments in the past. What to do? Any advice?

Re: US Bank. Grrr!

Did you save the statements and do they show paid current?
Did you receive a final statement showing PIF?
Are you talking with US Bank, the CRAs, or someone else?

I would dispute with the CRAs as inaccurate. When dealing with an OC, if they become obstinate, you need to dispute with the CRAs so as to "activate" the FCRA for purposes of a lawsuit on your behalf.
