Variety

I have been told that to help your credit score you need a variety of history. i only know of two kinds of accounts Revolving and Installment if there are any more please enlighten me.

Mortgage, auto loan, store card, gas card, credit card - and they don't all need to be active.

Just make sure charge-offs, collections, judgments, liens and BKs are not part of your credit mix.:smileyhappy:

All three scores were 850. Lost points for not having an open installment TL. So, BE WARNED!!!!!
