No credit card required
Browse credit cards from a variety of issuers to see if there's a better card for you.
I use CreditKarma to monitor my TU credit report (LOVE the credit monitoring notifications).
I learned from the forums here that WalMart (both the Discover credit card and the store card) offers a free monthly TU08 FICO score.
Now I'm tempted to apply for the WalMart card and use it in conjunction with CreditKarma as a free way to monitor my TransUnion credit report + score.
What do you think of this idea? Is anyone doing this?
Guilty!!!
Cool!
I read the forums a lot and haven't seen anyone make the connection between WalMart and CreditKarma for the purpose of TU monitoring.
Come to think of it, this free solution may be more usefule than FICO Quarterly Monitoring sold here:
For the mortgage appers though, they might want that TU04. Tends to be what's pulled for mortgages.

- monthly score vs quarterly score
- TU08 score vs TU 04 score
- FREE!
Correction TU98 (MyFico) vs TU08 (walmart) No one sells or gives access to TU04 besides Barclay app
Oops,, that's right,, it is a 98. My bad.

It's all good they should really sell 04 imo getting your real credit scores that most lenders use are too confusing =\ if they build a system to judge us on it, they should give us access to our real scores for any model.
Oops... I stand corrected on the TU04 vs TU08 comparison.
It is actually TU98 (MyFICO) vs TU08 (WalMart).
