What Would Suze Do?

Ok, I have read all about how to send DV letters in order to protest negative info on my CR. But everything I read seems to contradict each other. So my question is this: Should I first DV the Collection agencies themselves or the credit bureaus, asking them to investigate it? In your opinion, which is the best way to go?

Re: What Would Suze Do?

IMO disputing with the credit bureaus is pointless unless you have proof positive of the error (and even then I am not so sure.

Go after each TL with Each CA - making sure of SOL beforehand (unless you can pay to prevent a lawsuit).

Im with LADY     By sending a DV  without a dispute....the CA might be caught without the proper info. to answer the DV.

Be sure of SOL before doing anything!
