Anyone ever deal with Target? At some point, I was considering settlling this debt for less than full. I owed $11.2 and they said I would have to pay $10.6 to settle. Not much incentive to risk further damage to my credit for such a small amount. I was $600 past due but paid it. I also have $5,000 that I want to pay on the balance. My problem is that they went up to about 24.9 on the APR and that will kill me on the $5600 balance that I will have AFTER the $5000 payment. need that interest charge reduced but I also need the 30 day late for June, 2007 removed as well. What is the best way to handle this....what are my chances of getting the interest reduction or the late pay removed.....or if I am really blessed, both.
