What does your score need to be in order to get approved for unsecured credit card?

I would like to bring my score up high enough to where I can get approved for an unsecured card. My scores are 610,565,635. I dont want another inquiry on my report if I am going to get denied, so what should I bring my scores up to so I can be assured approval?

With your current scores you should be able to qualify for an unsecured credit card through Orchard Bank, or Salute.

well it really depends on more than scores. are those fico scores, if so which one is the 635? do you have any baddies on it?
 
an eq or ex of 635 would be an in w/lot's of cu's, if it's tu hooters would be a good bet.

My understanding was Merrick bank was getting tougher with approving Hooters cards.
 
My friend applied for the Hooters card 2 weeks ago and got the "need more time to process application" and never even got a letter from them regarding the application.

yes it was 645 eq beacon 565 tu classic and 610 exp. fair isaac. This was from whats called a tri merge cbc innovis report? Is this report accurate method or like a fico score?

My TU score is 662 and I can't get a Hooters or any Juniper/Barclay's card to save my life.  Oh well, I have Target Visa and Capital One. 
 
Go for Crown Jewelers (www.crownjewelers.com).  No credit check ( = no inquiry hit/score decrease) and they'll give you $1500 limit.  Reports to EX (I think.  Or is it TU?)  Anyway, they report once a month during the 1st week, so if you act now, it might actually make your report within 2 weeks.

Those are accurate FICO's. My loan officer sent my merged reports as well and I had also pulled my FICO's from here right before he did and they were within a couple of points.

I would agree with Orchard/HSBC for rebuilding.
 
Try the pre-approval link first, since it does show you which card you *may* be approved for, just not the amount. I have some of their cards and I have had no problems, decent limit, increases and even a 2% CB on my Orchard Premier Visa.

i got approved for orchard 300.00 once i hit a mid 500 score. also just got the crown jewelers recently and my wife loved the jewelry lol. Reestablish credit while making wife happy is good to me lol
