I have an HSBC account which was transferred to a CA. This collection agency has remained silent and was not reporting to any CRA.
This CA has violated my rights afforded to me by the FDCPA. I sent CA a letter asking them to investigate the violations. No reply. Then I called then and here is what I received from them: ANOTHER VIOLATION!
Am I right that this constitute another violation for the GENERAL COUNSEL's failure to put anywhere in the letter that it is from a debt collector, and that he is attempting to collect a debt, and that any information obtain will be used for that purpose?
I have one year from the date of this letter to bring action against them right?
Should I just be quiet for now, since they are not reporting to CRA?
