What's considered Good Credit in 2013?

[ Edited ]

I just purchased my scores and it was 757 TU and 712 EQ.  Is that even considered good anymore?

I think so. I've heard it's not looked at as it was in the past, but I think most would be very happy there. What I have read here is that 760 is the new 720.

I wonder if the "760 is the new 720" part applies to everyone or just people that obsess about their credit enough to say, come to a forum specifically dedicated to it.LOL

Scores are not everything, its whats in your file. A person with a 760 can get denied for a CC while a person with 720 can get approved with a 10K CL. But IMO 750 is obtainable

Yes, it depends on the lender, the type of score, the situation, the times and whether some butterfly in China takes a right or a left at some street corner. It's better to err on the side of having a score that's twenty points higher than you need it than the opposite.
