I got a bit of pushback but eventually they approved it. The credit limit is $13,200. I don't know how on earth they got this number. Who knows what I told them 20 years ago about what I was doing or earning. I don't even remember.I called to ask for a CLI to $30,000 and again refused to provide HHI. They didn't ask about occupation. I'll let you know if I got an increase. They indicated my income as "0" because they didn't have a "prefer not to answer" option.
Of course this is impossible for anyone to know unless they have a card with them, but their customer service has been second to none. All things considered they are mostly prime with some super prime cards (Amex platinum and centurion). It seems they are now offering a non prime delta sky miles card. Some folks at this forum have been approved with scores in the high 500's.

Is it really better than VISA or MC?I've been working hard to rebuild my credit and currently have the following FICO scores: TU 729, EQ 702, EX 710. CC1: Orchard Bank Visa (since 9/05) CL 1350, CC2: US Bank Visa (since 3/07) CL 7000. Would it benefit me to apply for AMEX as well?
