So........ I received a response from a DV I sent for an old account for sprint and they wrote back saying that they are closing my account and contacting the orig. creditor which is sprint. Does that mean they have to delete from my credit if they are closing the account? what should I do now???

Contact Sprint and ask for a PFD (PIF). They will remove from your CR. If not, dispute, as they cannot validate and have no right to collect from you.
