What should I do?

I have 3 collections from Certegy listed on my Equifax report (not listed on TU or EX) This is killing my score!!

I want to know what I should do with these 3 accts.

Here are the details:

1)  Returned check from TJMaxx

     Balance $46 (showing $76 as past due amt)

     Date opened  3-07

     DOLA  3-07

2) Returned check from TJMaxx

     Balance $234

     Paid collection

     Date opened 4-06

     DOLA 4-06

3) Returned check from Federated (don't remember this one at all and is it mine?)

    Balance $55

    Paid collection

    Date opened 7-04

    DOLA 7-04

 I live in Texas so the SOL is 4yrs.

Should I PFD the one that is still open and GW the rest?

I don't want to wake a sleeping giant on the one from 04, but if it's not mine, I don't want it on my reports for another 3yrs.

# 2 and # 3  show paid   send GW letter      #1  does not show paid    i would DV  and then send a PFD  you are still within SOL.....I don't know what the law is in Tx for bad checks   it could be different then SOL

Should I DV Certegy  even though I know #1 is mine? Or should I go ahead and PFD with them?

What about #3 from Federated? I don't even know if it is mine.  Should I dispute with EQ first as not mine or should I go ahead and just GW them (if I can figure out who Federated is)?  Again, I don't want to wake a sleeping giant.

Does anyone have any contact information for Certegy?

I have googled them and all I can find are links for businesses to use their services and complaints about the company. I am going through a bunch of past bills and paperwork now trying to find the original letters from them, hoping I can find a working phone # or address. (Boy, I am also giving my paper shredder a workout today)!!!

Thank you Lady Scarlett for the Federated link. I still don't think it's mine to begin with.

Anyone have a good GW letter for a paid collection?  Sorry to thread jack!
