I had a payment arrangement through Midland Credit Management. The payment was deducted from my checking account automatically. The last few transactions came through as being paid to BACS. I haven't been able to find anything linking these two companies together. I pulled my CR recently and saw that even though it's been paid, Midland hasn't updated the report, it's still showing 1 payment left. I want to write a letter asking for update/removal but who the heck is BACS and why are they debiting my account??? Lesson learned, here. I'll be watching everything for a long time to come. Does anyone know if it's the same co? Would a letter be appropriate?
