My AAoA is usually around 6 or 5, depending on how many new accounts I have opened. I haven't noticed any score difference with either age.

Wouldn't any non-'1 year' AAoA be an improvement over anything before that, namely 2 years?
That's one way to do it. The other way is to apply all at once.so that your accounts are all aging together to create a more robust credit file
