I have read that the initial hit from a judgement is huge, but after some time passes it does not hurt as much as when new. Any time frame on this? I have two paid judgements, from 2007 and 2008 and just wondered if I will ever notice a score increase as time passes.

You will probably see your score rise slowly over time, assuming that there is no additional derogatory information added to your reports. But unfortunately PRs will ding your score in a significant way until they drop from your reports.
I have a paid judgment, filed in 2005. I paid it off in 2009. My score has been rising slowly but is finally over 700. I'm hoping for a nice jump in November, when it falls off. if I recall correctly, my score was at 620 when it was filed. I've gotten several new cards since then, but have also paid on time, and kept utilitzation low since 2005.
