All you need to worry about now is the information on your reports. Once you are sure that is correct, then the only REAL score that will match exactly the mortgage application is the EQ FICO sold here.
If you haven't pulled your free yearly reports go to annualcreditreport.com and get your reports. Just don't waste money paying for a useless score. If you have used the annual report, you can go to creditsesame.com and get the info on your EX report and go to creditkarma.com and get the info on TU. Just don't waste much time even looking at the useless scores.
I know less of Credit Sesame than of Credit Karma, but stumbled over this from the Credit Sesame website.
Thanks but every single time I have inquired about refinancing my apartment, the first thing the bank rep has asked is what is my credit score approximately. I cannot tell them if I dont know.
You only have so many options. A free trial of ScoreWatch is probably the easiest. You get a free FICO score for EQ and ScoreWatch customer service is pretty easy to deal with. I'm pretty sure you can even cancel online unlike a lot of other places that make you call in and argue with a retention specialist to cancel. But you said you don't want to do a free trial.
If you're unwilling to do a free trial, you can apply for a credit card that gives you a score. You can get a TU08 score from the Walmart Discover. Also, DCU provides its members with a free Equifax FICO score.
If those don't appeal to you, you could always submit a mortgage application and get all three FICO scores.
Other than that, I think you're going to have to pay for it
Oh, I dont mind paying for it. I was just looking for the least expensive place to buy it. It seems 20 bucks per score is the best price and here is one of the places to get it so thats what I selected.
