When an IRS tax lien on a credit report is disputed, where would the Credit Reporting Agency investigate - with the IRS or with Town Records?
Reason I ask is that the town Land Records show a Release filed, but the IRS has removed it from it's records completely (or at least that is what I'm told, they say it doesn't exist on their end).
