Why such a huge difference in scores?

I just purchased my Transunion & Eqiufax reports and scores...the reports are identical yet Transunion gives me a score of 683 and Equifax 636???? Huge differnece; same information....any ideas?

Same thing with mine.  I have my Equifax and Experian and there is a difference of 36 points.

I have 100 points between my TU and EX

Your info might be the same, but your inquiries are different. Most companies use one or the other CB's not all when they do credit inquiries and these can also affect your score.

Both show that I only had one inquiry this year(which is accurate)...I do plan to pay off almost 17k before the end of the year; so I hope both scores go way up at that point!!!!
