I am sure they handle several but the most popular is Providian. That is who 95% of the people I have talked to said it is from.

They are a colllection agency and collect for more than just Credit Cards some call them JDB's

Yes Providian is a Credit Card Company. Not a very good one though. WAMU bought them out.

Do not call them, WRITE them, dispute it, etc.  They do NOT answer mail, they purchase accounts and then inflate the amount, sue you and get judgments against you.  Proceed with caution, request DV on first contact!
