I would call the OC and ask when the account went delinquent and was closed. Dont mention why, just tell them you are needing to konw some information regarding a past debt.

I would also call the CRA and ask what DOFD is being reported or when fall off date is. Tell them you are just wanting to get additional information regarding the debt.

I called the OC they don't keep records that long.  I have to believe this is from 2000, since the are a company in North Carolina and I haven't lived there since before 2000?
