already hate Barclay

Just got the card. Made a small purchase. Payment wasn't even due this month but paid it before statement cut.

There website says:

Make a payment

Cutoff time for same-day payments is 7 p.m. ET. Payments made after that time will be dated the next day.

It will typically take 2 business days for your payment to be reflected on your account and your available credit to be updated.

Questions about payment posting timeframes?

  • Current balance
    $0.00
  • Minimum payment due
    $20.00 PAID
  • Next payment due on

  •

  • Statement Balance

I paid on the 6th at 12:01 pm.     Transactions

Here is a list of transactions since the start of your current statement. To view previously posted transactions, select from the drop-down. To view current authorizations, select 'Temporary authorizations' below.

As you can see, I paid way before the cut off time and yet,  they say:

    Last payment rec'd
    $164.16 ON 07/07/14

So what gives?  On top of it, there is no corporate number for this company.   Anybody else have this happen? Thanks

Re: already hate Barclay

Seems like you're grasping at straws for things to criticize. Did this affect your statement or make your payment late? It did not.
