No steph, unfortunately. A collection marked 'paid' is almost as bad score wise as the collection itself.
Care to share the details of the CO? There is a way to pay it, and have it deleted from your CR, called PFD(pay for delete). I've used that tactic successfully to have 3 med collections deleted plus one charge off last fall.
