Thanks to this board for all the good info! I have a question regarding a CA. The OC (Verizon) has posted my delinquent account on my credit report. I tried to settle with them directly but no luck, they referred me to the CA. I received a letter from the CA and wrote a very nice letter in June offering to pay in full if they could arrange for the removal from my CR. I have as yet to receive a response from them and 30 days was on June 11. Would anyone recommend calling them for status or should I send another letter? I really don't want them to go for a judgment against me when I have the money ready to pay! Any advice would be appreciated.
