I just received a collection notice from a ca It says to make a scheduled payment this acct is not on my Cr yet if I make the scheduled payments to the CA will it show up on my CR as a collection
It may not. Some times there's that window of opprotunity to get into some form of a payment arrangement or to pay it off before they do decide to report.
Using your CR is one of their weapons to get you to pay, so it just very well may not.
to be sure that it doesn't appear, you need to send a letter (before making any payment) that they must agree not to report to any CRA. You must have it in writting. Be SURE that it says *WILL NOT REPORT*. IF it reads * may not* is no good.
