I am an AU on account with discover. The card is maxed but has no baddies & is 5-7 years old. Will the maxed have any effect on my score?

yes.  the ut on that card will affect your score just as if it were your own solo account.

i forgot to add that this only applies now...once the cra's stop taking accts for which you are an au into account, then you will prob be okay.

Thank you. I wanted to be sure before I did anything. As with almost everyone, money is tight. I think I will transfer this to my CC as it has a much lower int.rate. I can then pay down faster.
