Being first time home owner in late 06- forgot about homestead exp. and did not file this year- My question what are the opinions on managing taxes alone and not using an escrow account? I think I would rather put the money away myself and manage alone. I have an 80/20 and now going through the process of getting this approved- customer service said they may or may not allow me to do this? Will they be pulling my credit? Thanks! I am tired of my payment changing!
