fico simulator

Does anyone know if the fico simulator is accurate.  I would like to pif all cc debt - approx 4,000, however, the simulator doesn't show the biggest bump in score from this.  Recently used cc again and saw a significant drop in score.  Need to boost it back up again.

U will recieve a higher point bump if u pay it down to about 3% instead of paying them off!!!

It also depends on how much you are using now.  If you have a low util, then your score won't jump that much.

Don't put too much faith into the simulator. Not always accurate and is good only to see if score goes up or down, not by how much.

I'll let you know in a couple of days. It gave me a range if I took one action. I took that action and am waiting for an updated score which should be this week (I hope).
