I have never filed bankruptcy before, but I am considering it to get this issue off of my back. I have medical bills which are in the thousands. Every year I file state taxes, they are completely taken to pay this debt. I am tired of getting my taxes taken when the money is needed for so much more. I am considering waiting for this debt to be deleted from my credit, but will they still have the opportunity to take my taxes every year even if they are no longer on my credit report? Or is my only option bankruptcy? Please help!!
