fixing things

I am recently divorced and have discovered debt that was not paid ontime or debt i didn't know about.

I made the misstake of not being apart of the money management during this marriage and I'm find this was a huge mistake.  Is there anyway, I can clear up these issue's of late payments that I see from the credit report I just got..?   Any advice would be good... thanks...

wv...........where there's a will, there's a way.

Start by reading the Scoring 101 thread. There's good stuff there.

Also contact your lawyer-
This should have been part of the discovery during the divorce proceedings-

And don't discount the personal sympathy you may get from contacting the creditors that are recording the late payments. All it takes is to have the right CSR understand your plight and remove the lates. It definitely helps if you are able to prove yourself with good current payment history.
