freezing interest rates letters

can anyone help with requesting a freeze on cc interest rates? any examples. i am using a GW letter to ask NFCU to freeze cc interest.   open to suggestions

also what can i ask for as far as forgiving a portion of the debt?

 this is for mc, visa, and line of credit

Not alot of detail here for us to assist you-

Did they send you a letter saying they are raising your rates?

If this is the case you usually do have the option to opt-out of it - but your account will be closed.
