grant & weber - med collections - won't respond to PFD letters!

(accidentally posted in wrong forum - this is where it belongs!!)

I have an old $85 medical collection from Grant & Weber for an X-ray I had in November 2001. It is only reporting on EX (where I have a 605 FICO). EX's report says "Scheduled to remain on report until August 2008". Has never shown on other reports. This is my only baddie left anywhere (aside from lots of INQs that will be falling off throughout 2008).

I sent 3 GW letters since June 2007 attempting to get them to delete this for payment in full. They have completely ignored them, even though they would be getting payment in full outside the SOL - this is easy money for them.

Anybody have any luck with GW or PFD with Grant & Weber? Should I just wait until August 2008 for this to fall off?

Try disputing. Old record they might have no info.

I did a DV with Grant & Weber and 3 weeks later they deleted the collection. They have been getting sued quite a bit as of late.
