how long does a credit card stay on your CR?

Just wondering how long a credit card will stay on your credit report????? 10 years? 20? Less? Thanks.

If it has been a perfect account, forever.

If it has had problems and closed. Than 7 years from last transaction or status date I believe.

I think that may be 10 years for a closed account. Some of mine have drop off dates this year, on the 10th birthday of closing them ( I moved)

So if it's a closed account, it will be deleted 10 years after the date it was closed? At that point, will my scores drop???

Depends on a huge number of factors. It can affect the average age etc.
